This notice covers the Who Decides? release-alert list and the planned ticket booking service.
Release-alert signups
The film team uses your name and email address to send you the film's release alert.
Where your details are stored
Your name and email address are stored in Resend, the email service used to manage the release-alert list. We also record when you submit the signup form, the signup page address, and the consent wording and version shown to you. A signup notification containing your name and email address may also be sent to the film team.
Ticket purchases
Real ticket sales are not open. The local contact, billing and card fields are disabled. When Stripe test checkout is enabled on this preview site, use fictional contact and billing details and a Stripe test card only. Test checkout sends those details to Stripe and saves a test booking in Cloudflare after verified payment. No real ticket is issued and automatic booking emails are not connected yet.
Booking details
When sales open, we plan to collect your name, email address and ticket quantity to process your booking, send confirmation and venue updates, manage ticket availability and check you in at the event. Without the required contact and payment information, we cannot complete a booking.
Private booking records will be stored using Cloudflare. These records will include your name and email, ticket quantity, amount and currency, booking reference and status, payment-provider reference numbers and relevant dates. An authorised event team will use a guest list containing the details needed to check bookings at the door.
Payments and billing address
Stripe will handle payment details and the required billing address on its hosted checkout page; the preview integration is limited to test mode. Our booking database is not designed to store your billing address, full card number or card security code. Stripe also processes information for its own purposes, including fraud prevention, as explained in its privacy policy.
Booking emails
We plan to use Resend to send booking confirmations and essential event information, including the venue announcement. Your email address and the booking details needed for those messages will be shared with the email service. Buying a ticket will not automatically subscribe you to the separate release-alert list.
Service providers and storage
Cloudflare, Stripe and Resend may process information outside Australia. Their privacy policies describe their handling of personal information: Cloudflare, Stripe and Resend. The ticket service's retention arrangements and overseas processing details are still being confirmed and will be added before sales open.
Privacy requests and questions
For access to or correction of your details, to request removal, or to raise a privacy concern or complaint, email info@whodecidesfilm.com. Please do not email card details. Some booking and payment records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute; we will explain any limits when responding to a removal request.
